A: No. The price is standard ($45) independent of how many letters are in the baby’s name. We don't think some babies should be deprived of such a Colorful, Unique, Thoughtful and Educational gift just because their names contain more letters! For longer names, though, the dimensions of the illustration board may be subject to change, but it will still be a standard size should the customer or baby's parents want it framed.

A: It usually takes 10-14 days from the time an order is placed to the time we get it to the customer. Should someone need it sooner, they should call the number on this website. A rush order might entail an increase in price (depending on the number of orders ahead of it).

A: We'd be happy to accommodate what the customer desires. Some of the accommodations we have made to date: baby TAYLOR's middle name is Rose. The customer requested the "R" be a rose; another had a nephew (HUDSON) who loved Spiderman - the "S" was Spiderman; a customer wanted HALEY done in only pink and chocolate brown (the color scheme of HALEY's room); the parents of DOMINIC graduated from the University of Miami (dad) and the University of Nebraska (mom) - they requested the "I" to be an ibis (the Canes' mascot, which is supposed to be the last animal to take cover before a hurricane and the first one to come out after it passes, even though it just looks like a duck) and the "N" was done in the big red block N that's the Cornhuskers' logo; check the "Sample Designs" for baby ZOE whose named was spelled with two dots over the "E" to see what was done to make her gift extra special.

Note: Should the request(s) entail extra time and/or cost, the customer will be notified of a price increase and the artwork will not begin until all parties are satisfied with the gift and the cost.

A: Colored pencils and illustration board.

A: Initially, when C.U.T.E.* Baby Gifts opened for business, there were two styles of gifts - original & deluxe. The deluxe gift was priced higher than the original because it took considerably more time for an artist to complete the deluxe model, due to more detailed artwork, a greater variety of colors and other time consuming, but fun items that made the gift even more exclusive (like the symbols interacting with the letters - rabbits, eagles, alligators, monkeys, mermaids and zebras climbing on, hanging from or swimming through their respective letters). Due to the pride we take in preparing a truly memorable present, EVERY gift became one of the deluxe variety, even if an original was ordered (which comprised the overwhelming majority). In order to be fair to all concerned, we compromised and raised the original price to a reasonable $45, but lowered the deluxe cost (the products customers are actually receiving) from $50 to $45. Since then, everyone has been delighted and we believe it's because of the quote by one of the fiscally wisest men who ever set foot on this earth, Warren Buffett, who said: "Price is what something costs. Value is what it's worth."

A: Absolutely. A full refund for the purchase price (not including shipping & handling) will be mailed to the person who ordered the gift, provided: the artwork is returned, undamaged, within thirty (30) days of the date it was purchased or the date the parents received it (depending on which party is returning it). However, this has never happened, nor do we ever anticipate it happening.

A: Naturally, it is critical to correctly spell the baby’s name on the order sheet. Also, the person placing the order needs to ask the parents what they intend to call their child, e.g. the middle name, by the initials, a nickname, etc. Should a mistake occur and it is on our end, C.U.T.E.* Baby Gifts will gladly correct the error and provide a replacement. If, however, the artwork was completed as ordered, there shall be no refund.

A: We take pride in this situation not occurring (which is why we request the baby’s last name as well as the parents’ names). In the unlikely event it does happen, even though no two baby gifts will ever be identical (color of letters and/or symbols will be different), C.U.T.E.* Baby Gifts will fully refund either the person who placed the order or the parents (whoever returns the gift) or both (if both do). This situation, also, has never presented itself.

One fact to be taken into consideration: because no two gifts will ever be the same, in selecting to purchase a C.U.T.E.* Baby Gift, the present you are giving your relative, friend, neighbor, colleague or whomever is a "1 of 1" original piece of artwork.
